The Lab
Most "certificates" in the market are a printed promise. Ours is six instruments, a trained gemologist, and a unique ID you can verify long after you've left the shop.
The Process

Test 01
Gem Refractometer
Measures how light bends through a stone. Each gem species has a unique RI range — ruby reads 1.762–1.770, sapphire 1.762–1.778. The single most reliable identifier for natural vs simulant.

Test 02
10×–60× Gemological Microscope
Inclusions are the fingerprints of a gem. Silk in ruby, fingerprints in sapphire, three-phase inclusions in emerald — we map each one to confirm origin, treatment and natural status.

Test 03
Hydrostatic SG Balance
Density measurement that separates look-alikes the eye can't. Distinguishes natural spinel from synthetic, tourmaline from peridot — and confirms whether a 'diamond' is actually a moissanite.

Test 04
Polarizing Filters · Dichroscope
Reveals the optical character of a stone — singly or doubly refractive — and how it shows different colours from different angles. Essential for separating ruby from garnet, sapphire from tanzanite.

Test 05
UV Lamp · Microscope · Reference Stones
Heat, flux healing, glass filling, beryllium diffusion — modern treatments are sophisticated. We flag every enhancement we detect, because what's been done to a stone affects what it's worth.

Test 06
Signed by Aakanksha Kolhapure, G.G.
Every test result is consolidated into a tamper-evident certificate with a unique ID and QR code. Verifiable in seconds, anywhere in the world — the certificate stays valid even after we close for the day.
